Jeff Campbell started Campbell Property Inspections in 2002 as a way to share his knowledge and experience with home buyers and sellers throughout the area. Jeremy Campbell started working with Jeff when he was still in high school. Here are brief bios of Jeff & Jeremy:
Jeff grew up and still resides in Pittston and has been married to his wife Kathleen for over 25 years; they have two children, Krysty and Jeremy. They welcomed their granddaughters, Kallie first in 2009, then Haylee in 2011 and grandson Jacob in 2013. Jeff enjoys sports, both watching and participating as well as spending time with his family.
Jeff first attended college at New Hampshire Technical Institute for Architectural Engineering and later attended Maine Maritime Academy at BIW for Marine Design. He worked many years as a designer/draftsman for various engineering offices and home builders. Jeff's experience in the design office is complemented by actual construction experience. Beginning while in college working in masonry and later building his own home. He has also designed and built a few other homes, additions and rehabs. Utilizing this experience, Jeff started his home inspection business Campbell Property Inspections in 2002 hoping to share his knowledge with others and help them make an informed decision, whether buying or selling a home. Jeff is a Professional Member (PM) and Vice President Elect (2016 & 2017) with the Maine Coalition of Home Inspection Professionals (MeCHIPs) and a Certified Residential Inspector (CRI) with International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and a Certified Master Inspector with the Certified Master Inspection Board. Continuous training and staying on top of the latest construction methods and innovations adds to the great service he provides to his clients.
Jeremy loves art and music and regularly plays bass guitar and does a little singing as well. He has studied both Art and Music at the University of Maine at Augusta.
Jeremy joined Campbell Property Inspections in 2006 while still in high school, as an assistant carrying tools and ladders and retrieving equipment. Many years later, Jeremy has grown into a competent assistant inspector. Over the years he has increased his knowledge and become a vital cog in the Campbell Property Inspection machine. Jeremy specializes in inspecting the doors, windows, and electrical system in the home, as well as water testing and preparing other areas to inspect while Jeff is busy with other parts of the home. Jeremy is a Candidate Member (CM) in the Maine Coalition of Home Inspection Professionals (MeCHIPs) where he receives ongoing training.
